Coming to a Magazine Near You!

I was thrilled and honored to be asked to take part in a Country Garden photo shoot.  I know, pinch me!  My friend, Sue Whitney of JUNKMARKET, is now a contributor to the magazine!  Yippee!  She will be doing four articles, the first two out in their Spring 2011 issue, the third coming out in the summer and the fourth will be out in Fall 2011.

The first photo shoot, for the Spring issue, was a fairy garden.  I can only give you a sneak peek, and you'll have to wait to get the magazine for the rest.  But it turned out spectacular (if  I do say so myself).  The things she thinks of (what a creative mind).  I was in complete awe. She had quite the little village going on there!

The next day was my debut...ta-da...a Country Garden Party.  And it was a spectacular day to do it.  We had been having storms the days prior, so what weather we would get for the day was a little if-fy.  It was hot, and humid, but the were able to shoot with sun!  Yeah!  And the setting for the picnic, it seemed to come together perfectly.  I so honored to be able to participate, and I even include some of my vintage pieces for the shoot (some may be familiar).  Sue knew she'd have a large stash to pull from me!  Garage shopping sometimes can be the best. Here's a sneak peek of a couple of the shoots....and if you'd like to enlarge the photos, just click on them.

As I said, the day before, the shoot concentrated on a wee little garden Ms. Sue created.  I think she had way too much fun with this one.  Maybe a throwback to her childhood?

It was absolutely amazing...right down to the cute little tetherball game.  Ooops...did I let out a little secret (or is it just a tease)?  Like I said, she had way too much fun on this one.

And the gardens?  They were exquisite!

And then the house....whow Neelly!

The second day was the party.  And we were serving up some good eats.  Hmmmmm.  Unfortunately after a day in the sun, didn't think it was a good idea to eat any of it.  Bummer.....

Here Nick, the art director, is barking out orders (just kidding Nick).  He was the bestest!

And then there were the horse jumping thingy's.  Like my technical lingo?  Hahaha!

The kids were sure having fun with them.

Can you say cheese?  Or maybe I should say trifle.  Dang, did I let out another secret?

Let me tell you, these kids were hysterical!  Can we have more sugar please?

Now to see how the pictures all turned out!

Can you say Photo Opp?  Dang...someone forgot  to tell me (and Nick) to be in the Realtor stance.  My bad!
