Ki and a Whale of a Garage/Junk Sale!

This weekend I was fortunate and privileged enough to spend time with Ki Nassauer, formerly of Junk Market and now with Junk Bonanza and Junk Revolution, when I stopped at her garage sale. I didn't get there until after noon as my first stop was at Mustard Moon. When I did get there, there wasn't much left. The few things I would have loved to have gotten my hands on were snatched up just before I arrived. They were purchased by a former employee of hers, Julie, who had worked for her during her Junk Market sales in Long Lake. Isn't that how it always goes! Lucky girl!

It was later in the day and the rush was over, so we did have a chance to visit some, and what a lovely woman she is. No wonder she has been so successful. She's talented and sweet! I call it a privilege to say I know her and wish her much success in all her new ventures. She tells me she's got a few things brewing, plus her column in Country Home, and her up and coming
Junk Revolution website. I'm anxious to see all the fun things she'll have for sale on it! You go girl!

Ki working the deal! Notice the stash I missed out on!

Ki and myself. It was an awfully cold day for a garage sale!

I read about her sale...too bad you missed most of the goodies. It's nice to know she's as sweet as she seems in books, mags and tv spots!

Lani, thanks for the pics. I knew she was having it, and it's nice to see her "in action". You two sure look cold. It's upper 60's around here, Our summers are awful, but love our winters down here in TX.
