Here's a little insight into what you'll find. As you enter the shop you will be greeted by a relaxing park-like setting, accented with an industrial flair. Lots of metals and wire, greys and blacks. Very unique and unexpected vignettes with some beachy accents thrown in the mix just for fun. Then as you walk toward the back of the store you'll find Dominique's Dressing Room. It's still in the works, but will be ready by Thursday. You'll have to come and see it for yourself! Last, but certainly not least, we'll have the garden area all set up for you to enjoy. Avant Garden, the coffee shop next door, has been busy working on the brick wall, visible from our patio, with a beautiful wall mural done by a local artist. It will definitely be a must-see!
As an added treat, we have been given the wonderful opportunity to be a part of Anoka's historical home tour, being held on Sunday, July 12. As part of the celebration, we will be designing three rooms, a dining room, living room and sun porch, on a home that was built in 1860. It is in the process of being totally renovated by a young gal and her father, and is an awesome home, along with the many others on the tour. You will also find live music, pontoon rides and a craft exhibit. Check out the Riverfest website for other activites and more details.
In other news, I am happy to say that there are two more occasional sales now in Anoka. How great is that! Also starting this month is a new Girl's Night Out, which will be the second Thursday evening of every month. On that night from 4-8 pm you'll find shopping, refreshments and fun for all. Downtown Anoka will be hopping with excitement. You won't want to miss it so hope to see you there!
If you are able to stop in, be sure to say hi. We are continually restocking, so check back often, we have the best prices in town. Until then, au revoir!

Flea bags...that is just too cute! The shop looks wonderful...just a tad to far for me to get there in a weekend, but I would if I could.
