Into Us a Child is Born . . .

For unto us a child is born . . .

a son is given to us.

The government will rest on his shoulders.

      And he will be called:

   Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

      Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

  His government and its peace

      will never end.

He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne

of his ancestor David for all eternity.

The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies

      will make this happen!

Is. 9:6-7 (New Living Translation)

May you know the reason for the season.  Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Lani! It has been a real pleasure for me getting to know you, your talents and creativity through your blog, and it was a treat meeting you this spring in Andover!

When we junk girls head to Minnesota again, we will certainly give you a jingle to meet for lunch or perhaps get together for a junk adventure! :)

Happy 2010! Andrea
