Art & Architecture, JUNKMARKET Style
What do you get when you combine two well-loved brands in the junk business, a dollop of amazing assemblage artists, a heaping teaspoon of gorgeous worn and torn garden décor, a carefully measured scoop of vintage vendors, a sprinkle of hand-crafted jewelry, and a good measure of one-of-a-kind furnishings for your home and garden?
I am so thrilled to be able to announce, and be a part of, a joint venture that brings together two great names, Art + Architecture and JUNKMARKET Style, in a retail event like nothing you have ever experienced. The sale, being put on by our very own Sue Whitney of JMS, and Jim Schmitt of A+A, is scheduled for May 6th through May 9th, 2010. It will be kicked of with a charitable gala that will be held on the evening of May 5th.
The goal of the event? To provide you with unique vintage furnishings, stylish art and re-designed accessories for your home and garden all under one roof. In addition, classes will be offered for those of you who want to be in the know.
The event, held in the historic Art + Architecture building, is located at 3338 University Avenue SE, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Art + Architecture houses a full floor of architectural salvage, including an outdoor garden annex, a 6,000 square foot live to work loft filled to the brim, and classrooms with character all awaiting your arrival. You will definitely find something for everyone here. And this is definitely an event you will not want to miss!

I wish I lived in Minneapolis! It seems like all the good junk is there.
How EXCITING!! When I lived in Minneapolis I frequented Art + Architecture (cause I had heard about it on Decorating Cents!). Can't wait to follow all the details (as I will be hosting the grand opening of my own shop here in Illinois that weekend).
This looks like a great time- can't wait!
I just found your blog and I to share a love of old antiques with my father...I've recently become appreciative of all the old junk he has collected over the years...
Can't wait to meet you there Lani!!
