From Springs to Sprigs . . . Easter Accents as Simple as 1, 2, 3!

Sorry I've been out of the loop for awhile.  My life has been busy, busy, busy!  Does absence really make the heart grow fonder?  Ha!  Here's some Easter accents that are right on the money for my busy lifestyle.  Not much project to them (just they way I like it).  They're easy as one, two, three.  And if you're preparing Easter dinner, you probably haven't much extra time on your hands either.  So go for simple . . . and to quote a favorite decorator, simple, it's a good thing!

Here I started off with a simple floral made from a car spring (thanks honey--hehe) and a soda fountain glass.

It's slightly industrial, with a modern flair.  I feel "spring" is in the air!

A smaller car spring holds a votive candle perfectly.

Or here I have a piece of vintage handrail.  Now what in the world can I do with something like this?

All it needs is a few candles to become a unique candle holder.

And last but not least, a little ivy sprig is all these fab lab beakers need.  Simple as 1, 2, 3!

Fabulous ideas. I like the easy peasy ideas the best. I'm not much of a project gal. I think I am, but then I never get around to doing the project. Your ideas are perfect for a lazy gal like me. And I love, love, love how you think outside the box using junk. Perfection!

Love those ideas! I will have to look for springs when I am out junkin! I didn't do any decorating for spring besides the cute chick dish that had candy but is now empty.

Great ideas, I just finished filling my pitchers and vase with flowers for Easter dinner, freesias and tulips mainly, and a tiny pink waxflower which is dropping blooms everywhere! Flowers just transform a space, don't they.

Lani,
Super simple but great decor ideas. Love the spring for Spring! Also, the beakers are super cool...i found me a huge one at my parents that is about 24 inches tall. I'm working on a new base for it so it will stand straight...not sure what I'll do with it but it's so cool!
Happy Easter!

Where did you get the black and white print with all the minneapolis locations on it?

Thanks, ya'll for all the kind words. I love hearing from you and I don't say it enough! Tara, as to your question, you can go to destinationartmn.blogspot.com for info on where these are sold. My girlfriend, Sue, makes them. Aren't they amazing!
