"More About Me, Less About Everyone Else" Trunk Show Pictures

I'm finally a "little" recuperated from the Trunk Show this past weekend at Otten Bros. with JUNKMARKET Style.  And I'm thrilled to say it was "huge" success!  Lots of fun, lots of people, lots of buying....just lots of lots!  I met a lot of new people, connected with old and just had a great time.  But I was beat!  Those things can really wear you out!  I did have a chance to take "lots" of pictures, too!  Like I said, lots of lots!  This is a little indicator of what the March show will be like as all these dealers will be back.  Did I tell you yet about the March show yet?  I guess that will be in a later post.  But for now, here are the pictures!

Some Sue Wolfe Originals exclusively for Otten Bros.!

The sale was held in the green house amongst the plants.  A perfect setting!

This was a piece I brought.  Don't know it's original use, but it would be perfect for a trellis!

Julie Pierce from The Loft on 2nd in Anoka brought her pots and tags.

Mary of Mary Jeans brought her fabulous handmade pillows, table runners, purses and scarfs.  Her handy work is exquisite!

Julie Broshat of Buckles by Julz has some amazing restyled buckles and cuffs made from vintage pieces.

Some of the vintage wicker I brought.

Patrick Stinnett of Robinwood Reclaimed brought some of his handmade pieces made from reclaimed wood.  This table was phenomenal.  And the gears were too cool for school!

I absolutely loved this vignette done by Sue Whitney.  The white with the natural wicker and leather were amazing.  It didn't take long and much of what was on the table was sold.

Bet you can't guess what these were?  Toilet roll holders!  They look much better as planters.  Most of these were sold.

This leather bound ledger was over 125 years old.  The calligraphy writing was beautiful.  It was mine and I was actually sad it sold.

These are my newest creations...leather pieces with wire flowers.  They all sold.  Yeah!

Lori Gravnik of Ladeeda Designs brought vintage cowboy boots along with her vintage, designer and upcycled clothing.

Another One of Sue Whitney's stunning vignettes with vintage pieces for sale at Otten Bros.!

Annie de Jongh of Grace and Corazon brought along her religious themed recycled vintage pieces.  They were stunning!  The pieces were literally flying out the door.  They were so creative and unique!  Can I say I loved them?!  Her leather cuffs are the latest rage.

I really wanted this piece, but I resisted....it was hard as I have a jewelry fetish.

Her cuffs were so fun and unique.

Gretchen of Mimitorias Designs was there with her redesigned vintage pieces and her new line of Steam Punk Jewerly.  Gretchen had quite a few of her fellowers there to see her.

Her rings made from vintage earrings and buttons were quite beautiful and reasonably priced.

Patrick also brought along his barnwood frames.

Sue purchased this "I Love Lucy" styled coat from Lori.  She looked great in it!  "Hey, Luuuucy...."

People started trickling in at 9:00 am and before you knew it, the place was bustling with people!  It was quite exciting!

And with four registers, there was still a line.  It made me giggle with excitement!

Lastly, I just had to show you the cool, or should I say "groovy" boots I purchased that day at Otten Bros.  Aren't they just the cat's pajamas!!!  They must have sold a "ton" of these that day.  They were a huge hit!  If you want a pair, check them out.  And if they don't have your size, they'll order them for you and it'll only take about a day.  Way cool!!

Stay tuned for info on our March sale.....got to run, but until then.....

Nice job with putting this post together representing all of the artisans. It should surely entice some readers on what a great show the March event will be.
It was a fun day!

I would love to see a close up picture of Mary's homemade pillows and scarfs. I guess the only way I'm going to see that is to go there in person.
